RAGGED EDGE 4x4. Experience the adrenalin of driving our 4x4’s in some of the most insane terrain you will ever see!

INTRO DRIVE PACKAGE  $195-45 MINS

This is your chance to get behind the wheel of an extreme Monster 4x4 and put it through its paces on our purpose built outdoor track.
 
After some tuition on how to manoeuvre these machines with rear steering and lockers it's time for you to put your wits and driving skills to the test as you tackle "Razor Back".  
 
Once you've tackled and survived Razorback you're in the passengers seat for a 'Hot Lap' as one of our instructors takes you through one of 'Competition Courses' and shows you how to really work these beasts around a course.  
 

COMP DRIVE PACKAGE  $295-80 MINS

For those who have a competitive streak we highly recommend a crack at one of our competition courses: 'Hell Dorado'.
 
After an Introductory drive where you get a feel for what our Extreme Monster 4x4's are capable of as you drive "Razor Back" it's your turn to jump in the passenger seat with one of our Instructors for a 'Hot lap'. This time they'll show you exactly how to 'work' the 4x4 as you learn how to pivot the vehicle in front wheel drive and skid around corners in rear wheel drive.
 
Then it's time for you to put all your newly found skills to the test as you drive "Hell Dorado" one of our unique and very challenging Competition tracks. You will be scored as you try and miss our strategically placed gates; it's not about time- it's about skill!  

MASTER DRIVE PACKAGE   $495-3 HRS

This is a Sport of precision and skill and if you want to really enjoy getting the most from these 4x4s in our Competition Courses then this is that package for you.
 
You will start with an Introductory Drive through 'Razor Back' to get an understanding of how to drive the 4x4's. Next you're in the passenger seat for a 'Hot Lap' through 'Hell Dorado'; our first Comp Course as our Instructors teach you more about the capabilities of these amazing 4x4s.
 
Next you're back in the passenger seat for a crack at 'Hell Dorado' yourself. Our instructors will guide you through and teach you to 'work' the 4x4. Now it's time for a walk through 'Chuckies Revenge' or Pucker Factor 9'. This is where you have to work out: should I be in front wheel drive, rear wheel drive or four wheel drive? Should the diff locks be on or off? Should I use the rear steer or the front steering? Should I turn or skid the 4x4? This time driving through the course there's no help from the Instructor: they're scoring you; it's time to work it out for yourself. Now you're truly competing!
 

ULTIMATE DRIVE PACKAGE  $990-6 HRS

If you want the chance to take one of our Extreme Monster 4x4's into the ultimate challenge then driving 'Armageddon' our natural bush track is a truly unique experience.
 
You will spend the morning going through the different technical aspects of driving the 4x4's; rear steering, diff locks, drive disconnects as you drive through different tracks with growing levels of difficulty. Our Instructors will also drive you through one of competition courses and show you how to fully get the most from the vehicle. You will also walk through another comp course; 'Chuckies Revenge' or 'Pucker Factor 9' to show you how to utilise the terrain to your advantage before you drive it yourself.
 
After lunch it's time for a drive through our bush property including a river crossing to get you our ultimate play area: 'Armageddon'. This is the track that just doesn't let up; you'll have to work the 4x4 through every inch of this track to get it through in one (or two or three) pieces.
 
'Armageddon' is a very technical and difficult track and as such participants must be able to demonstrate a high level of vehicle control to attempt this course. 

Group Package

If you’re into challenging yourself and your friends / collegues Ragged Edge can create a unique competition for your group. Perfect for Bucks parties, corporate days with a twist, club or social function days. Don’t forget to ask about our group discounts for 5 drivers or more. 
  • Drivers must have a drivers licence (P plates OK), passengers ride free. All packages include a Ragged Edge 4x4 Membership.
